greengenuity allows us to develop, operate, and partner in retail shopping centers that lessen our impact on the environment and fulfill our commitment to become better stewards of the communities we serve, furthering our leadership position in the shopping center industry.

Highlights of our greengenuity program include:

• First retail developer to announce a sustainability plan with specific LEED certification goals for new developments
• Developed a partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council to enable developers and retailers to achieve higher levels of LEED certification for a shopping center development.
• Hired a Vice President of Sustainability to oversee and evolve the company’s corporate sustainability and green building initiatives.
